Solsons was established in 1982 as a partnership family concern to manufacture machine tools in the home town Surendrangar, India. Self-centering innovative True Chucks with only 3 jaws (forward cum reverse) were introduced by Solsons for the First Time in the World.
It started developing innovative hand tools 1987 onwards. The first flagship product "Automatic Self-adjusting 8" Ratcheting Wrench/Spanner – Model # SP622" was introduced in March, 1991 at the International Hardware Fair, Köln, Germany and then in April, 1991 at Ideal Home Exhibition, UK and in August 1991 at The National Hardware Show, Chicago, USA.
Looking to the tremendous response from the actual users, Solsons kept on inventing in-house various other hand tools for operating nuts, bolts, pipes & studs. Solsons went for backward integration in 1996 and established its new manufacturing facility at Ahmedabad to manufacture all the hand tools 100% in-house including the raw material alloy steel to maintain the quality standards of "Life time warranty". Solsons has introduced all these hand tools for the First Time in the World and got registration of various Intellectual Property rights like Patents, Copyrights, Designs & Trademarks.
Solsons Tools achieved international recognition by receiving various national & international awards and media appreciations.
